Because the rose petals are quite a deep colour, it is recommended that you release a lighter coloured rose petal cannon such as ivory simultaneously, if the backdrop is dark in colour.
For example, if your confetti photos are going to be held in a dense garden or park where there's a lot of greenery, then it would be wise to release a Red Affair cannon with an Antique Ivory cannon or other light colour, so that the dark and light colours contrast against each for the photos.

AustraliaFantastic - the items came as described, were good quality (petals as described, fresh), easy to use, and the directions were clear. We were really surprised as there seemed to be so few reviews we weren't sure what to expect! We bought four canons in total (2x Red Affair and 2x Antique Ivory). The antique(white) ivory definitely showed up better in the pictures/video so I would recommend white more (our theme colours were white red and black) - plus I think you should get at least two canons and ideally four if you want a really WOW effect. We have each attendant stand in a square around us and pop them just as we kissed - magic! Couldn't be more happier!

AustraliaOrdered 3 rose petal cannons for my son’s wedding as a surprise for the bride. The photographer gathered us all for a group shot and on his count the cannons were fired! The flutter of the petals were delightful. Ordering was easy, and the delivery was in reality later than the initially promised dispatch. They arrived just in time.
